This weekend gone was totaly awesome! On Saturday night Aimes, Don and I went down to the Brisbane botanic gardens to feed the possums. The little critters just love their banannas! And of course they’re extremely cute. Don the great possum whisperer managed to coax a whole bunch out of a few surrounding trees and we ended up with about 10-15 around us – all feeding and chasing each other and runnng about.

We also tried out some spinny night photography with sparklers.

The last one was Don spinning around insanely holding sparklers in each hand. The park security came past just at that moment. They must have wondered what the hell he’d been smoking. They dared not approach him. We also got some other good effects by snapping someone running along a path with sparklers attached to their shoes. You can see all the photos from that night here.

I haven’t seen you guys for ages (my fault but have been flat out, wait that’s no excuse. Oh right, that’s right I was in the middle of a thought. What was it? Oh yeah that’s right. Silly me. I’d forget my own head if it wasn’t screwed on. Ok here we go with the continuation of Rob’s thought right…now). We should definitely be catching up some time very soon.
